QA Specialist

We're looking for a QA Specialist to own testing and quality across our portfolio of live mobile games and apps — someone who can make sure every release ships as good as it played in the pitch meeting.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives working across multiple titles — combining manual testing, release readiness, and player-facing support.

Working closely with developers, designers, and product stakeholders throughout development, you'll also back our Community Manager on community-management actions across community channels and social media, helping keep player communication professional and consistent.

If you're passionate about mobile games, obsessed with quality, and enjoy turning player feedback and testing insight into better releases, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, executing, and maintaining manual test cases for games and applications in the company's catalogue, including functional, regression, and release testing

  • Testing gameplay, UI/UX, monetization, ads, and analytics systems

  • Identifying, reproducing, and documenting issues with clear descriptions and steps; verifying fixes and assessing release readiness

  • Owning and continuously improving the QA pipeline, including report forms, release checklists, and acceptance criteria for the backlog

  • Providing gameplay, UX, and quality feedback, contributing to design discussions and feature refinement, drawing on both personal testing and player insights

  • Collaborating closely with developers, designers, and product stakeholders throughout development

  • Delivering player support: responding to player inquiries, verifying reported issues, and providing resolutions such as refunds, compensation, or rewards

  • Monitoring player feedback and support requests to identify recurring issues, exploits, or UX pain points

  • Providing support for community management (CM) actions across community channels and social media, contributing to professional and consistent player communication

  • Researching, evaluating, and managing third-party resources (outsourced QA, player support, device farms, tools)

  • Staying current on platform regulations, publishing requirements, industry trends, and tools across QA and player support

  • Managing the company's test-device inventory and researching further needs

  • Turn specs (acceptance criteria, journeys, release checklists) into tests and agent-runnable checks

Requirements

Must have

  • Excellent English, spoken and written

  • Experience in web testing and mobile testing

  • General familiarity with analytics / observability tooling

  • Proficiency in working with AI tooling

  • Experience in player/customer support or community management, with strong written communication for public-facing channels

  • Availability across both time zones (All Aces Europe + All Aces Games Canada) — ideally working hours 11:00–19:00 CET

Nice to have

  • Automation testing experience — e.g. agentic PR review tooling that catches obvious code issues before they reach QA (particularly relevant for Bandle, which the team's discussion flagged as likely needing more than manual testing alone)

  • Interest in growing toward Project Management and becoming a driver for features over time

  • Daily, advanced Cursor and/or Claude Code: rules, skills, multi-file agents, spec-to-test

  • Spec-driven: write or review acceptance criteria before implementation — testing/quality criteria (catching edge cases, gaps in scenarios)

What we offer

  • Full time job 40 hours per week

  • B2B contract (Malta based company)

  • Payment in EUR

  • Fully remote setup (possibility of occasional company events)

  • Cooperation with teams from all over the world

  • Work-life balance (we won't bother you during weekends or block your appointments)

  • Startup freedom, real responsibility: fast decisions, no approval chains, no politics. You own the outcome

  • Data over opinions: we optimize what works, measured by retention, monetization, and release metrics
